The communication module software for the emergency communication system (eCall) is automatically updated remotely through data transmission to the vehicle (no need to visit a service center)

There may be errors in the engine control unit software, which can cause malfunction of the air intake sensor or EGR valve, and in such cases, the engine warning light may illuminate late or not at all, resulting in a recall (*in these cases, exhaust gas emission standards may be exceeded)

Engine control unit software update 

There may be an error in the transmission of the powertrain control unit software, and in such cases, there is a possibility that OBD diagnostic information (e.g., fault codes) for the last driving cycle may not be saved, leading to a recall.

Powertrain Control Unit (PTCU) Software Update 

Excessive pressure in the fuel rail may occur under low engine load, and in such cases, the engine warning light may illuminate on the instrument panel, and it has been confirmed that there is a possibility that the vehicle may switch to limp-home mode, leading to a recall.

The NOx sensor may not correctly detect the components of the exhaust gas, and in such cases, there is a possibility that the exhaust gas emissions may exceed the standard, leading to a recall.
