Replaced with a high-pressure fuel pump with improved durability 

There is a possibility of coolant leakage inside the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) cooler. In such cases, engine output may be reduced, and the engine warning light may illuminate. In extremely rare cases, the occurrence of a thermal event cannot be ruled out, leading to a recall (*If symptoms such as the engine warning light or coolant shortage warning light illuminate, reduced engine power, or jerking occur while driving, for your safety, please stop driving immediately, exit the vehicle, and contact BMW Mobility Care at 080-269-0001. )

Replace the EGR module with an improved EGR module, clean the EGR pipe, replace the intake manifold if a leak is detected in the EGR cooler, and update the OBD (On-Board Diagnostics) for about 80% of B47 engine vehicles.

Moisture can penetrate the inside of the nitrogen oxide detector and damage the components, and in such cases, nitrogen oxide may not be detected properly, which could cause the warning light to illuminate, leading to a potential recall.

At the time of the initial vehicle sale, the vehicle was delivered with a steering wheel that did not feature a TAKATA airbag. However, it has been confirmed that after delivery, the customer may have installed a sports or M sports steering wheel equipped with a TAKATA airbag from the replacement parts approved by BMW. The steering wheel in question is equipped with an airbag inflator that uses ammonium nitrate, and if the vehicle is exposed to high temperature and humid conditions for an extended period, the propellant in the inflator may have deteriorated. In such cases, in the event of an accident, the driver's front airbag may deploy abnormally, causing the inflator body to rupture, and it has been confirmed that there is a possibility of injury to the driver, leading to a recall.
