Replace the EGR module with an improved EGR module, clean the EGR pipe, replace the intake manifold if leaks in the EGR cooler are confirmed, and update the OBD (self-diagnosis device) for about 80% of B47 engine vehicles

Recall due to the possibility of coolant leaking inside the exhaust gas recirculation device cooler (*If the EGR cooler is replaced, the possibility of coolant leaking inside the exhaust gas recirculation device cooler is prevented. However, additional diagnosis and prevention functions cannot be used unless an OBD update is received.)

OBD (Self-Diagnosis Device) Software Update

*OBD update contents: The addition of diagnostic and preventive functions improves the limits of error detection and switches to safe mode when an abnormality is detected. If an abnormality or leak is detected within the intake manifold, a warning light comes on to help the driver recognize it.

*Customers who have already received an EGR module replacement among vehicles eligible for the OBD update will receive only an additional OBD update. Customers who have not yet received an EGR module replacement among vehicles eligible for the OBD update will receive an OBD update along with an EGR module replacement.
