Due to an error in the manufacturing process, the angle of the front camera may not match the specifications, and in such cases, safety and driving assistance features such as Automatic Emergency Braking, Forward Collision Warning, and Lane Keeping Assist may not be available to the driver without prior warning, which can increase the risk of collision, leading to a possible recall.

When the driver uses the AutoSteer feature, the devices that provide sufficient warnings to the driver and limit the function if the driver does not actively participate in driving may be insufficient. In such cases, if the driver misuses the driver assistance function and does not maintain continuous responsibility while driving the vehicle, or fails to recognize whether the feature is activated/deactivated, the risk of collision may increase, leading to a potential recall.

1. Apply the option to simplify Autosteer activation and deactivation: Activation and deactivation changed from 2 steps -> 1 step

2. Improved driver monitoring alerts (applies only to Model 3/Y)

 - Increased warning text size and moved warning screen from bottom -> top

3. Autosteer will be disabled for one week if incorrect driver usage is detected

 - Model 3Y (Year: 2019-2023) / SX (Year: 2023) (Interior camera function on): 5 times

 - Model SX (Year: 2017-2020) (Interior camera function off): 3 times

4. Increase driver monitoring when approaching traffic lights using Autosteer in areas that are not highways

A possibility has been found in versions after firmware 2021.36 (September 30, 2021) that the doors may unlock in the event of a vehicle crash, and in such cases, the doors may unlock during a crash, which could increase the potential risk of injury to occupants, leading to a recall.

If the size of the Brake, Park, and ABS indicator letters on the dashboard is smaller than 3.2mm, drivers may find it difficult to notice when these indicators light up, which could potentially increase the risk of a collision, leading to a recall.

Software error: When the driver opens the hood, if the vehicle's locking mechanism fails to detect that it is unlocked, the driver may not be notified that the hood is open. In such cases, if the driver drives without realizing the hood is open, there is a possibility that the hood could fully open, obstructing the driver's view and increasing the risk of a collision, prompting a recall.
