In firmware releases 2022.36 to 22.36.4, the correction values of the Electronic Power Assist Steering (EPAS) system have been changed. As the correction values are corrected, in rare cases when the force of various external road conditions (i.e. potholes or bumps) is misclassified as unexpected steering assist torque and the power steering assist is reduced or lost, the steering control is not affected, but there is a risk of collision as more steering force is required, especially when driving at low speeds. The vehicle's output may be blocked due to an error in the battery management system software. In this case, power may be cut off while driving due to a BMS software error, and when power is cut off while driving, the vehicle may gradually come to a halt, which may lead to an unexpected accident.

Recall due to the possibility that sufficient warning to the driver when using the autosteer function and a device to limit the function when the driver does not actively participate in driving may be insufficient. 2. Improved driver monitoring warning (applies only to Model 3/Y)

- Increased warning notification text size and moved warning screen from bottom to top

3. When Autosteer detects incorrect driver use, Autosteer is suspended for one week
