In firmware releases 2022.36 to 22.36.4, the correction value of the Electronic Power Assist Steering (EPAS) system has been changed. As the correction value is corrected, in rare cases when the force of various external road conditions (i.e. potholes or bumps) is misclassified as unexpected steering assist torque and the power steering assist is reduced or lost, the steering control is not affected, but there is a risk of collision as more steering force is required, especially when driving at low speeds.
