Due to an extremely small number of defective rivets in seat belt buckles caused by a supplier's worker error, when buckles are fastened for use, they may detach from the fixed part. In the event of a vehicle collision, if the seat belt buckle detaches from the fixed part, it may not protect the occupant and could potentially pose a safety risk, leading to a recall.

After inspecting the seatbelt buckles of the ten seats, if a defective rivet is found, the buckle will be replaced.

1) If normal rivets are confirmed, the work will be completed.

2) If defective rivets are confirmed: Until replacement with buckles of normal parts is completed, please refrain from using the corresponding 3rd-row seats and buckles. Once the normal part buckles are available, additional customer notifications (via customer letter or phone call) will be provided, and the buckles will be replaced with normal parts.

If the fuel pump control module is exposed to excessive moisture, some IC chips (integrated circuits) may be damaged, which could cause fuel not to be supplied properly, resulting in a no-start condition accompanied by the engine warning light and potentially causing the engine to stall, leading to a recall.

It has been confirmed that there is a possibility of bearing damage due to foreign substances generated during the manufacturing process of the connecting rod or due to the manufacturing quality of the crankshaft. As a result, if the engine is damaged, preliminary symptoms such as abnormal engine noise, engine warning lights, high engine RPM, abnormal gear shifting, reduced output, and failure to restart may appear. If the engine is damaged, loss of propulsion and engine shutdown may occur while driving, which may increase the risk of collision and potentially compromise safety, leading to a recall.

After the engine diagnosis, the engine is repaired or replaced. In addition, regardless of the diagnostic results, the warranty period for this issue is extended from the existing 3 years or 60,000 km to 10 years or 240,000 km.
