Defect details	Due to poor adhesion of the magnetic metal on the tone wheel, the magnetic metal around the periphery of the tone wheel may detach from the tone wheel. This can interrupt the magnetic signal sent to the crankshaft sensor, preventing the crankshaft sensor from transmitting crankshaft position/speed/rotation direction information to the engine control module. As a result, the engine control module may not issue fuel injection commands, leading to no fuel supply, which could cause the engine not to start or stall while driving (triggering the engine warning light), prompting a recall.

Correction method	By updating the engine control module program, even if the metal of the tone wheel falls off and the signal with the crankshaft sensor is interrupted, the signal from the camshaft sensor will be received so that normal driving is possible.
